The EUROLAB webinar on the “Lab of the Future” will take place on Zoom on 28 May 2024, from 10:00 to 13:30 CEST.

 

The event aims to be an insightful exploration into specific practices related to the digitalisation of laboratories. Our confirmed high-level speakers will give you an overview on how to implement different practices for your activities, through which methods and following which procedures.

Eurolab býður upp á tvö námskeið

1. MOOC "Estimation of Measurement Uncertainty in Chemical Analysis"

The 2024 edition of this online course will be running from 19 March to 2 May. It is an introductory course on estimation of measurement uncertainty, specifically related to chemical analysis (analytical chemistry).

Participation to the course is free of charge. The participants who successfully pass the course will be issued a certificate of completion by the University of Tartu.

2. International Master Class on Internal Audits in Laboratories (ISO/IEC 17025)

The European Centre for Laboratory Excellence and AIM have the pleasure to invite you to the International Master Class on Internal Audits in Laboratories (ISO/IEC 17025), taking place in Leuven (Belgium) from 19 to 21 March 2024.

This Master Class will assist you in developing practical auditing skills and offer practical experience in planning, preparing, performing, reporting, following up on issues, and closing the audit. Also, it will discuss how to plan, establish, implement, and maintain an effective audit programme following the principles of the ISO 19011:2018, Guidelines for auditing management systems.

SÍP ákvað að bjóða meðlimum upp á að sitja fræðslufyrirlestrana þann 30.11 sér að kostnaðarlausu í fyrirlestrarsal Mannvits og bauð einnig upp á léttar veitingar og hádegismat.

Alls mættu 15 félagsmenn og í hléi og eftir fyrirlestra Eurolab var umræðutími þar sem rætt var um ýmsar leiðir til aukinnar sjálfbærni.

The webinar will highlight some of the key issues that laboratories are facing and the developments that are currently being implemented. It will mostly focus on the Lab of the Future advancements in Africa, as the world's fastest-growing continent. The overall purpose of the event is to share local solutions and act as an interaction platform among the various interested stakeholders. We aim at bringing together the international community and the African-based professionals and experts to discuss the latest developments in digitalisation strategies for small and medium laboratories in particular.
